This collection presents classical physics and chemistry works of the XIXth century, written by famous scientists (e.g. Joule, Cornu, Foucault, Poincaré…).
Among the subjects dealt with, researches on light and electricity are particularly well represented. Specialists have worked with the library to select these documents according to their historical, scientific and methodological interest.
Concurrently, a selection of theses of the Paris Faculty of science accessible in another collection complements this glimpse on physics and chemistry in the XIXth century.
